Investors and game developers to meet during financial summit
July 21, 2008 (Toronto) – Interactive Ontario today announced that GameON: Finance 2.0 will take place October 28th and 29th in Toronto. This investment summit is designed to bring investors and video game developers together to explore financing possibilities for the Canadian games industry.
"GameON: Finance is the only Canadian event dedicated to the financing of video games," says GameON Finance Executive Producer, Ian Kelso. "This conference brings together key players in the industry and promotes the kind of creative thinking that will benefit the Canadian games industry as a whole, while developing future financial models for responsible and viable game production in Ontario."
GameON: Finance 2.0 will take place in the Grand Banking Hall in Toronto. The first annual GameON: Finance conference, which was held earlier this year, was an industry success and will be happening annually each Fall.
