(TORONTO – December 14, 2011) – Interactive Ontario (IO) today announced that President and CEO Ian Kelso is stepping down to take on an expanded role as the CEO of the Canadian Interactive Alliance/Alliance interactive canadienne (CIAIC).
 
Max Berdowski, the Vice President and General Manager of IO will take on a greater role within the organization working directly with the Board of Directors and the IO team.

Studio100 Media Signs Deal with Kids Digital Distribution Platform, Kidobi

Munich/Toronto, November 30, 2011 – Studio100 Media GmbH, a subsidiary of Belgium’s leading family entertainment group Studio100 today announced a new digital distribution agreement with content aggregator Kidobi.
The agreement gives the pre-school targeted streaming video platform digital distribution and VoD rights for several shows from its programming library for a three-year period commencing December 2011. ESAC launches new video on Canada's video game industry

The Entertainment Software Association of Canada (ESAC) has just released a new video on Canada's video game industry. It can be viewed on the ESA's website. ESAC has also launched the 2011 edition of Essential Facts that contains a profile of the Canadian industry and Canadian gamers. It reveals that the Canadian industry has grown by 11% over the past two years and is projected to grow 17% over the next two years. ESAC's research also reveals that 59% of Canadians are gamers and that the average age of a gamer is 33 years old.
