Letter from Ian Kelso, President
On behalf of Interactive Ontario, thank you for playing a vital role in the future of the Interactive Digital Media industry in Ontario and in Canada. For almost six years, io has been facilitating new opportunities for companies in the Interactive Media industry.
We have been working hard to communicate the priorities and needs of our companies to all levels of government. This has paid off in increased levels of funding, more diligent consultations and programmes that are more suited to industry needs. We have been very busy and productive these days.
This year we have brought on new staff to help with the continuous growth of our project roster, expanding quickly along with our membership. io now represents 150 Interactive Media companies large and small across Ontario.
We also promote our members’ interests as founders on the Board and on the Executive of the Canadian Interactive Alliance, the national voice of Interactive Media in Canada. Our efforts have required the ongoing commitment of substantial resources. Thank you for your ongoing support!
As an io member you have helped us assist our industry build on past successes and fight for policies that will promote the most favorable conditions to continue to grow and prosper.
