| Description | Redwood e-Learning is one of Canada's leading e-learning companies developing immersive online environments. We focus on rich media solutions that help organizations engage and educate their learners. We are looking for new additions to our team to help continue development of some of our core technologies and manage our IT infrastructure. Our web based solutions are primarily PHP/mySQL applications. You will be a solid, all around information technology professional - involved in analysis, design; developing, maintaining and supporting new and existing applications; assisting in test, configuration management and deployment. You will be using object oriented development and be part of a small development team. We are looking for self-starters, who are able to take the initiative to lead and work well with both technical and non-technical staff. You will also be responsible for researching and resolving code bugs, performing unit tests, leading code reviews and authoring application documentation. |
| Qualifications | You have • A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience • 4+ years of PHP development roles • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • The ability to multi task • Great organizational and problem solving skills Nice to haves • Online learning experience, SCORM standards • Rich media interest and experience • Cross platform, mobile device development Our Environment • Located in downtown Toronto, Ontario (King and Spadina) • Extremely dynamic environment in high growth atmosphere.
