Main Duties and Responsibilities
Tasks include, but are not limited to those outlined below. The successful candidate should be prepared to work flexibly across a range of marketing and design functions:
  • Assist with the development and execution of the UKTI Canada marketing plan
  • Help develop an integrated social media and digital communications plan for the Canadian UKTI network
  • Create written content for marketing collateral for print and online media
  • Develop and create innovative pr/marketing campaigns
  • Draft marketing content such as press releases, blogs and social media posts etc
  • Develop and design marketing materials including event invites, brochures and advertisements etc
  • Maintain inventory of promotional items
  • Co-ordinate and manage corporate events
  • Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
  • 2 years experience required in Advertising, Marketing or related field
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and analytical tools
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO strategies
  • Ability to write content for print and web
  • Ability to write for a variety of audiences
  • Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Capability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to work within tight deadlines both as part of a team and independently without supervision
  • An understanding of Canada-UK commercial relations
Compensation $49,733.28
