| Description | Position: Senior Designer,
In this newly created full time position, the successful candidate will work directly with the Creative Director of the Interactive team.
You are an independent thinker and worker, with the ability to work with other people to create leading-edge content. You will be current in technology standards, continuously evaluating emerging opportunities and trends.
Some of your major responsibilities include:
• Create concepts, illustrations, user interfaces, designs and documentation for original or extended properties, achieving or exceeding production values.
• Take responsibility as ‘Design Lead’ on a project-by-project basis, becoming the internal ‘expert’ on the visual design.
• Conceive and create original and unique artistic works in the design of interactive content.
• Assist Creative Director or lead in the concept development, UI design and information architecture of projects.
• Assist Creative Director or lead in the completion of style guides.
• Provide input in creative brainstorm meetings.
• Create mockups of sites and concepts for various stages of design and pitching.

| Qualifications | Minimum Qualifications
• Diploma and/or Degree in Web Design, Fine Arts, Illustration or Animation recommended.
• Minimum 5 years experience in graphic design and production of user interfaces using Adobe Suite (including Flash. InDesign and After Effects are an asset)
• Excellent understanding of navigation, user-centered design and information architecture principles.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, inspires other team members, and work collaboratively in a demanding environment.
