OMDC Interactive Digital Media Fund - Budget Workshop

In order to assist Ontario companies in preparing budgets for upcoming funding deadlines in the interactive digital media (IDM) industry OMDC will be offering budget workshops on August 8, 2012.
 
The workshops will focus on the new and improved IDM industry standard budget template which has been updated to reflect current industry requirements and is in the process of being adopted by many funding agencies. The following topics will be covered:
·    Overview of the history of the IDM industry budget template
·    Detailed review of each budget section with tips and best practices
·    Review of the Schedule of Minimum Ontario Expenditures
·    Review of OMDC budget policies
 
The workshops will be led by Sasha Boersma, a 10 year veteran of the interactive digital media industry.
 
In order to accommodate potential overflow in the workshops and individuals located outside of the GTA or with accessibility challenges, companies have the opportunity to listen online.
 
Please note that space is limited to one person per company and reserved specifically for companies that will be submitting an application to a recognized industry fund within the next three months. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis for companies that meet this requirement. Due to the limited number of spots available in the workshops, registration will be considered a firm commitment of participation. OMDC respectfully requests that companies ONLY register for the workshops if they are completely committed and available to attend.

For more information or to register please visit the OMDC IDM Fund page. Registration will close at 5:00pm on the day prior to the workshops or when the sessions are at capacity, whichever comes first. Unregistered participants WILL NOT be accepted.
 
If you are interested in attending a Budget Workshop but require it be conducted in French please send a request to programs@omdc.on.ca by July 31, 2012 and arrangements will be made to schedule a workshop on an alternate date.
