Building applications for wireless, mobile Internet and broadband services is one of the most exciting areas of development in the technology arena. The New Jersey Technology Council looks to foster this innovation so that developers, entrepreneurs, market leaders and investors can come together to discuss strategic direction, showcase and share their ideas and connect with
resources and partners. We will present some of the best applications in development in the US and Canada.
Agenda:
10:00-12:00-One to one meetings with Canadian/US companies- Friend Convocation Center
1 – 2:15 PM – WorkGroups on Mobile Learning and Application Development – These roundtables will be concurrent sessions with one or two presenters at each. Presentations will feature one Canadian and one US presenter. Following the presentations there will be general discussions.
2:30 – 3:15 PM – Panel Discussion – Application Trends - experts discuss an overview of the latest research that reflects and illustrates the current state of applications and the directions in which the industry is heading.
Panelists include: Mung Chiang, Professor of Electrical Engineering, Princeton University; Paul Nolting, Senior Counsel, Verizon Wireless; Guy Story, CTO, Audible, Inc.; Jordan Usdan, Deputy Director, Public-Private Partnerships, FCC and Canadian Company Representative to be announced
3:15 – 4:30 PM – Presentations by Winners of the Mobile Application Competition including:
Content Subcategory, Location Services Subcategory, M Health Subcategory, Personalized Services Subcategory Smart City Applications Subcategory and Social Media
4:30 – 5:15 PM – Panel Discussion: Enterprise in the Mobile Sector
Panelists include: Tom Angelucci, Marketing and Business Development, Verizon Enterprise Solutions; Nick Karter, Business Development, QUALCOMM, Sunita Kishnani, Assistant VP, Marketing, Diaspark, Inc., Rich Napoli, COO, ObjectFrontier and Canadian Company Representative to be announced.
