Idea Refinement Boot Camp for Digital Documentaries

The CFC Media Lab and the docSHIFT Initiative have joined forces to present TWEAK: an Idea-Refinement Boot Camp for Digital Documentaries.
We are looking for up to 30 experienced producers, creators, directors, writers, strategists and architects with an interesting interactive documentary idea and the desire to have their idea analyzed, work-shopped and honed from both a creative and business perspective. IO Members receive registration discount.
This 2-day weekend workshop will be facilitated by a series of high level industry mentors along with UK's Frank Boyd, former BBC Director of Creative Development and the visionary behind Crossover Labs.
Selected participants will retain ownership of their project idea but must be open to working collaboratively in a group setting- sharing their idea, receiving input, and also giving valuable input on other projects.
ELIGIBILITY:
- you have a strong interactive doc idea (mobile, web, game, multiple platforms)
- you must live and work in Ontario
- you must be an experienced and established documentary content creator (ie. producer, director, editor, writer, media artist, other) OR an experienced interactive digital media professional (ie. game developer, mobile developer, web designer, interactive producer)
- you are available weekend of September 25/26th both days, all day
- you are willing to pay registration fee of $100 (DOC / IO Members) or $150 (non-members)
Please note: those of you who applied for or participated in the docSHIFT Crossover Weekend in May are eligible to apply for TWEAK. TWEAK (focused on idea refinement) has been designed to compliment and extend from the Crossover Weekend which focused on idea generation. TWEAK is both a stand alone event and a good preparatory phase for those interested in the docSHIFT Institute (see below).

1. You & your career
